The Woodlands – Sterling Ridge Village

The Woodlands Village of Sterling Ridge is located at the very western edge of The Woodlands and has great access to both FM 2978 and FM 1488, with the many retail establishments located along the area. Sterling Ridge started development in 1999, 25 years after the first Woodlands development of Grogans Mill and was so aptly named after The Woodlands 25th anniversary. Like other villages within The Woodlands, Sterling Ridge has its own segment of pathways, parks, and retail shopping centers making everything very convenient for area residents. The exclusive community of Carlton Woods is also located within the village of Sterling Ridge for those looking for luxury estates in a Country Club community. You will find a wide variety of homes within Sterling Ridge, ranging from townhomes in the 150’s all the way up to magnificent estate homes up to 3 million dollars within Carlton Woods, along with a variety of homes in between. Since Sterling Ridge was one of the later developments of The Woodlands you can still find brand new homes available within the area, not to mention The Woodlands is planning on developing additional portions of land like May Valley, and Spindle Tree. Sterling ridge is currently served by Deretchin and Coulson Elementary (K-6) and the ninth Grade Campus for the Woodlands High.
