Selling a home can be a cumbersome process, especially in today’s real estate market; choosing the right agent or Brokerage Company can be the difference from just listing your property to actually selling it. There are many choices out there for property owners to choose from when looking for an agent to help; many property owners I talk to are frustrated with agents that simply list their home on the MLS then disappear though.
There is certainly more to selling Woodlands real estate than taking a few pictures and loading them onto the MLS; I think the biggest complaint I hear from sellers is that their agent won’t return phone calls, another complaint is that the agent isn’t proactive in trying to sell the property (doesn’t do anything), yet another is that they really don’t know about the particular neighborhood or property they’re selling, therefore cannot convey information about it to people looking to possibly buy it.
This can happen for a few reasons; either the listing agent is not a full time agent, therefore has no real knowledge about the local market, they’re lazy, or on the other end of the spectrum they’re too busy and carry too many listings to be able to properly handle yours!
Many of the self proclaimed “top agents” carry so many listings that there’s no way they could possibly know everything about all of them to be able to properly convey information and service them. Other agents simply don’t have the knowledge, experience, or resources to properly market The Woodlands homes for sale.
It takes a lot of capital to properly market Woodlands real estate, especially in today’s market. Web sites, search engine optimization, newspapers, home magazines, print material, signage, newsletters, professional photos, professional relationships within the real estate world, the list can go on.
